The brief of this project was to design a product for an existing brand or company. I chose DJI. Given their products are focues on drones and video I decided to work on a concept for a home security camera that integrates with the design language of their existing products. DJI Haven is a concept for a home security camera that protects the users safety and privacy by having a retractable camera, making sure to show the user when the product is recording.
Create security without sacrificing privacy.
How can home security cameras be made to feel less obtrusive?
Security cameras often sacrifice the user’s sense of privacy for security
